How long do your sauces last after they've been opened?

The sauces last 6 to 9 months in the refrigerator.

What is the difference between natural versus organic?

Under the Canadian Food & Drug Regulations, natural foods or ingredients are minimally processed and have not undergone processes which significantly alter their original physical, chemical, or biological state. Organic foods describe foods that are farmed and processed under organic practices and standards that promote the sustainable health and productivity of the ecosystem.

Do you use artificial flavours or preservatives?

No, only natural flavours and natural preservatives are used.

Do any of the sauces contain MSG?

None of the sauces contain added MSG. However, the Sun-Soaked Ceviche Marinade, Swingin' Cocktail Sauce, Rustic Soya Maple Glaze, and Modest Miso Vinaigrette contain soy sauce, tomato, miso, and anchovy products which naturally contain free glutamates which can cause food sensitivity reactions.

Are your products gluten free?

The Rustic Soya Maple Glaze contains wheat, which is a sub-ingredient in the organic tamari sauce. All the other sauces do not contain gluten but they are produced in a facility that handles gluten-containing ingredients.

Do your sauces contain nuts or tree nuts? Are they produced in a facility that handles nuts or tree nuts?

No, they do not contain nuts or tree nuts. Yes, they are produced in a facility that handles nuts and tree nuts.

Do your sauces contain egg or dairy?

The Tangy Thai Aioli and Classic Tartar Sauce contain eggs. None of the sauces contain dairy ingredients.

What is non GM canola oil?

Canola oil that is produced from canola crops that have not been genetically modified or genetically engineered. Genetic engineering refers to techniques by which the genetic material of organisms is changed in a way that does not occur naturally.

Do you use fresh or dehydrated garlic in your sauces?

The Sun-Soaked Ceviche Marinade and Classic Tartar Sauce contain dehydrated garlic. The soy maple glaze contains a pasteurized wet garlic. Fresh garlic is not used to ensure sauce stability.

Do the sauces contain animal-based ingredients?

The Sun-Soaked Ceviche Marinade and Rustic Soya Maple Glaze contain fish sauce which is made from cured anchovies.
